Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Anatoly Lazarevich took part in the work of the III Belarusian-Chinese scientific forum on humanitarian exchanges and business cooperation

Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Anatoly Lazarevich took part in the work of the III Belarusian-Chinese scientific forum on humanitarian exchanges and business cooperation “One Belt – One Way” and Chinese-Belarusian Cooperation: New Development and New Perspectives ” in Zhuhai, Guangdong, People’s Republic of China.

The event was organized by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Beijing Pedagogical University and the City Hall of Zhuhai to discuss the current state and prospects of development of the Belarusian-Chinese scientific, technical, humanitarian and trade and economic cooperation in the context of the implementation of the global initiative “One Belt , One way”.

The forum was attended by over 150 representatives of scientific organizations, institutions of higher education, government bodies, the diplomatic corps and the media of the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Republic of China.

Within the framework of the scientific forum, the work of six plenary sessions was organized, in which the scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus presented thematic reports and key scientific developments of academic organizations. The Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Anatoly Lazarevich, and the chairman of the All-China Association for the Study of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Lee Yongquan, moderated the section “Scientific, technical, educational and cultural cooperation of Belarus and China.”
