The Institute of Philosophy held a meeting with Iranian scientists
On November 2, 2018, a meeting with Iranian scientists was held at the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Dr. Mustava Hosseini, Rector of the University Esra Tehran, Ph.D. and Theology, Professor and Dr. Mehdi Mousavi, Lecturer at the State University Tegrai and Shahid Beheshti, Ph.D. and Theology presented reports on the topic “Iranian Philosophy”, told their Belarusian colleagues about the system of philosophical education in Iran and also answered questions from the audience.
In addition, negotiations were held with Iranian colleagues at the Institute’s Directorate on further cooperation and implementation of joint research projects.
On 2 June 2015, the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, with the support of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Belarus, successfully held the Ayatollah Khomeini International Dialogue of Civilizations of the West and the East, and on December 18, 2013, a major international scientific conference «Avicenna: thinker, scientist, humanist», according to the results of which a collection of reports and abstracts of the conference was published.
