SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHER LEGAL PERSONS UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES
Article 12. Scientific organizations under the authority of the Academy of Sciences
The main legal persons under the authority of the Academy of Sciences are the scientific organizations of the Academy of Sciences:
scientific-practical centers of the Academy of Sciences on the main directions of scientific activity, established by the decision of the President of the Republic of Belarus. Scientific-practical centres operate on the basis of Regulation on the Scientific-practical Center of the Academy of Sciences, approved by the President of the Republic of Belarus, and the statute approved by the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences;
institutes as well as centers and other organizations with the rights of institutes. The statutes of institutes and organizations with the rights of institutes are developed on the basis of the Model Statute of Scientific Organization of the Academy of Sciences and approved by the Bureau of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences.
Article 13. Other legal persons under the authority of the Academy of Sciences
Under the authority of the Academy of Sciences there are institutions, republican unitary enterprises, associations of the institutions and the republican unitary enterprises and other organizations that are not scientific ones.
The activities of legal persons under the authority of the Academy of Sciences which are not scientific organizations is realized in conformity with the Statute of the Academy of Sciences and other acts of legislation on the basis of the statutes of these legal persons approved by the Chairman of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences.
