Town Hall in Mogilev. Building of town hall started in Mogilev in 1578 after the receiving the Magdeburg law by city. Primarily the town hall was made of wood and repeatedly burned. In 1679 began the building of the town hall made of stone, the main building of which was built in 1681, and the tower - in 1698. The town hall was a 2-storey building with an 8-facet 5-tiered tower of 38 meters height in the middle of the main facade, which was one of the major high-altitude dominants of the city. The tower had a balcony with metal barriers. The clock was established on it. The construction was roofed with tile, there were 2 porches, over which were placed the gold-filled weathercocks (anemones). Retained the names of the builders of the town hall: wizard Fesk, Aphanas, Kruzberg, Ignatiy and others, the artist Afanas Pigarevich. The rooms were heated by tiled stoves. The stairs were decorated with carved wooden balusters. On the 1st floor of the building was the stoop, a large hall ("izba"), office, town council. In the basement was situated treasury, warehouses, prison. The main premises - the "hall" and "the front room" – were located in the building of the tower. In 1773 the town hall was rebuilt, into the design of facades were introduced rustication, horizontal girt, window finishes. During the war it was severely damaged and in 1957 demolished. The newly reconstructed in 2000-ies the building of the town hall is located on its historic place. The project of the author’s team is based on archival documents (supervisor of studies is A.
