Main - - Culture - The second Spas   The second Spas (Apple) is celebrated on August 19 in the Orthodox calendar, on August 6 in the Roman Catholic calendar. Vegetables and fruit as well as water were sanctified in the temples. Before this day parents whose children had died abstained from eating apples.
