CHAPTER 8. PECULIARITIES OF SOME AREAS OF CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
Article 43. Guest concert activity
1. Guest concert activity – the activity on organization and holding of cultural and entertainment events (including charity) on a stage, or places under the open sky which are not especially appropriate for this purpose, or in a premise with the participation of amateur performance teams and performers.
2. Legal persons and sole traders of the Republic of Belarus as well as foreign citizens, stateless persons, foreign and international organizations, including organizations that are not legal persons, have the right to guest concert activity on the territory of the Republic of Belarus in accordance with order established by the President of the Republic of Belarus.
3. Following things are not permitted on the territory of the Republic of Belarus:
3.1. distribution of advertising of cultural and entertainment events before getting a permit to organize and hold of a cultural and entertainment event on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (except for the cases pointed out by the President of the Republic of Belarus, when the acquisition of a permit is not required), or without output data stipulated in acts of the President of the Republic of Belarus, laws and other acts of legislation, or without specifying a cultural and entertainment event (with or without usage of phonogram);
3.2. implementation of guest concert activity without a permit to organize and hold a cultural and entertainment event on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (except for the cases pointed out by the President of the Republic of Belarus, when the acquisition of a permit is not required), or with a violation of copyright and allied rights, or using information of a state and other secret protected by the law.
Article 44. Activities of creative unions and cultural workers. Folk art, folk crafts (crafts)
1. Special legal status and the order of creative unions and cultural workers activities are determined by the legislation on creative unions and cultural workers.
2. Special state regulation and support for folk art, folk crafts (crafts) are stipulated by the legislation on folk art, folk crafts (crafts).
