The main forms of international cooperation of the University:



• cooperation in the field of education and science with educational and research organizations in foreign countries in the framework of bilateral agreements;



• export of educational services;



• implementation of international contracts on the development and delivery of scientific and technical products;



• conducting on the University basis and participation of the University employees in international exhibitions, conferences, symposia, seminars;



• participation in projects of international funds and programs;



• academic mobility of employees and graduate students and students, including training at foreign educational institutions.



The University carries out bilateral agreements with 60 universities, research centers and governmental organizations from 26 countries. In the framework of bilateral agreements concluded with 19 universities of EU countries (Germany and Poland – 4 Universities in each, France and Italy – 2; Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Spain, Greece, Britain and Bulgaria – 1), joint research projects, preparation of scientific publications, participation in conferences and summer schools, scientific training included teaching the students, language courses, training and highly qualified scientific personnel are carried out.



The most successful partnerships of BSUIR are developing with the University of Wuppertal (Germany), the Mediterranean University of Marseille (France).



Educational Services of the University are attractive and competitive. There are 300 citizens from 29 countries, including those from EU countries: Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, between students, undergraduates, graduate students and interns in the preparatory students department.



The confirmation of the originality and novelty of new equipment and technologies developed by scientists of the University, is that they have received about 3000 patents, as well as medals and diplomas at the prestigious international exhibitions in the EU countries (Germany and the Baltic countries).



Research and delivery of scientific and technical products is done for organizations in Germany, Poland, Italy and Slovakia.



University is the organizer of international scientific conferences, symposia and seminars on nanotechnology, promising display technology, pattern recognition, processing, and information security, medical electronics, information technology in education:



• International Scientific Conference “Physics, Chemistry and Application of Nanostructures” (Nanomeeting);



• International Scientific Conference “Neural Networks and Artificial Intelligence”;



• International Scientific Conference “Pattern Recognition and Information Processing”;



• International Symposium “Advanced Display Technologies”;



• International Scientific and Methodical Conference “Distance Learning – Educational Environment of the XXI century”;



• International Reading “Great Reformers of Science”;



• International Scientific Conference “Tools of medical electronics and new medical technologies – Medical electronics”;



• Belarusian-Russian scientific-technical conference “Technical facilities of information security”;



• International scientific-technical seminar “Telecommunications: Networks and Technologies, algebraic coding, and data security”.



In 2010, BGUIR participates in international programs and projects: the 7th EU Framework Programme, INTAS, EUROPRACTICE, International Science and Technology Center, Society for Scientific Research of France, the German Scientific Society (DFG), the World Federation of Scientists, the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD, etc.



BSUIR cooperats with the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience IAESTE. University students and interns underwent practical training in Germany and other European countries. The mobility of staff, graduate students, undergraduates and students is increasing. Each year about 300 people go on business trips abroad for training, research, study, practice and participation in international symposia, conferences, seminars and exhibitions.
