Belarusian-Chinese scientific and practical seminar “The One Belt, One Way” Initiative and the Philosophy of Governance in a New Era”
On April 25, 2018, the Belarusian-Chinese scientific and practical seminar “The One Belt, One Way” Initiative and the Philosophy of Governance in a New Era” took place at the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Director of the Institute of Social Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Professor Zhang Yi, heads of the research departments of the Institute of Social Development Feng Xuin and Yu Shaoxian, senior researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Dmitry Smolyakov delivered reports.
The reports of the seminar were devoted to highlighting the problems of the social structure of Chinese society, the organization of social management in Chinese cities, the PRC’s achievements in the field of creating long-term medical insurance, and strategic planning of the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation.
This seminar is the next event of the Belarusian-Chinese Research Center of Philosophy and Culture, created in 2017 in the framework of the cooperation of the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Linan Pedagogical University. The center’s activities allow expanding partnerships with the institutes of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, which, along with China’s university research centers, is seen as a strategic partner in the field of social, humanitarian and philosophical research.
