Belarusian State Agricultural Academy
Belarusian State Agricultural Academy has extensive experience in international cooperation, the beginning of which can be attributed to the year 1848. Since the discovery of the Hory-Horecky Agricultural Institute, taken into account the existence of such institutions in Europe, it became necessary to study foreign languages at the Hory-Horecky Agricultural Institute. A. Sovetov, I. Stebut, F. Bazhanov etc were sent to the first trips abroad. From this, the international activities of the Hory-horecky Agricultural Institute had started.
In 1962, the first foreign students began to study at BSAA. During the years since the opening of the faculty, more than 1700 foreign citizens from 83 countries completed preparatory courses, and 700 people from 58 countries graduated from BSAA, many of our foreign graduates have achieved significant results in political and economic activities of their countries. Currently, the faculty of international relations and the work with foreign students deals with questions of international cooperation, which are priority in the activities of any university.
