Belarusian State Medical University
Each year, owing to the international relations and established contacts of the University, about 200 professors and researches of the Belarusian State Medical University leave for business trips to attend conferences, symposia, congresses, in virtually all countries of the European Union: the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Italy, Greece, Spain, Sweden, Austria, Germany, Poland, Romania, England and others.
In the framework of agreements on international cooperation each year more than 20 students leave for practice abroad, and graduate students and professors – for internships.
As part of an agreement on cooperation at clinical bases of BSMU students of the Medical University of Bialystok take their internships, students of the Medical Faculty of the University of Wales (UK) come as volunteers.
Each year, the Belarusian State Medical University is visited by delegations from various countries and partner universities: Medical University of Bialystok (Poland); society “Italy – Republic of Belarus”, International Forum of Hygiene (Germany); Fund “Help them to Live" (Italy) and many others.
Belarusian State Medical University has concluded 47 contracts and agreements on academic and scientific cooperation, protocols of intentions on cooperation, including:

Agreement on academic and scientific cooperation with the University of Picardie in Amiens, and Department of Odontology in Lille (France);
Statement on scientific cooperation between medical faculty of the University of Bonn (Germany);
Agreement on academic cooperation with the University of Picardie Jules Verne (France);
Agreement on cooperation with the University of Ioannina (Greece);
Agreement with the Medical University of Bialystok (Poland);
Memorandum of understanding with Misericordia of Florence (Italy)
Agreement on academic and scientific cooperation and exchange with the Regional Centre for multiple sclerosis and neurobiological clinic (Italy);
Agreement on scientific cooperation with «VOCO GmbH» company (Germany);
Agreement on the academic and scientific collaboration with the Medical University of Lublin (Poland);
Agreement on scientific and academic cooperation with the Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, Warsaw (Poland);
