Studied in the collective monograph comprehensively is the history of the Belarusian cinema and television, trends in evolution of its forms – fiction and non-fiction (documentaries and popular science films), animation, as well as works of leading film-makers in the context of the art culture of Belarus. The cine process being analyzed is great period from the very beginning of the Belarusian cinema (1926) to the latest screen history of Belarus (2004).
