The author of the monograph works out theoretical issues of television, studies communicative and aesthetic aspects of telecast, reveals its genetic relation to primitive syncretic culture. Analyzed in the monograph are its social, integrant role, spectacularity and syncretism of its art forms, continuance and recurrence, due to which the telecast components are synchronized to rhythms of nature and human life.
