The new Belarusian Spelling Dictionary is based on the rules promulgated by the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Rules of spelling and punctuation", adopted in 2008. The basis of the dictionary is made up by the most common vocabulary, and words that may cause difficulties in writing.
