This book discusses the results of sociological survey on the social problems of Belarusian villages.

The authors analyzed Belarusian peasants in terms of their health, educational background, employment and social networking. These items were chosen because of they are an important element of social base of innovations in agriculture.

The authors offered the possible ways to reform villages and agriculture in terms of different groups of country population. They showed the most perspective trends of reforming in terms of concerns and desires of varied groups of peasantry.

Taking into account the level of people’s adaptation to social and economical changes in villages, the typology of country human resources was built and the authors showed what factors would be critical and, accordingly, it would decline human potential of villages.

The book can be useful for scientific workers, students and post-graduate students within the humanities, and those who work in the fields related to agriculture. Also the book would be interesting for social care specialists, ideologists, and officials of state authorities.
