The scientific works of the collected articles “Philosophy as self-understanding of culture and an intermediary in the dialogue of cultures", organized by the institute of Philosophy of NAS of Belarus with the assistance of UNESCO, analyze the key problems of modern philosophy and culture in terms of a number of thematic directions, including the dialogue of cultures as the necessary condition of the development of the world community in the XXI century; philosophy as self-understanding of culture; problems of interconnection and interdependence of philosophical cultures; universals of philosophy and universals of culture; philosophy as an intermediary in the modern intercultural dialogue; Belarusian philosophy in the context of global philosophical culture; language, speech and sense in the dialogue of philosophical cultures, etc.
